Stacey has over 20 five years’ experience in healthcare ranging from sales and marketing to administration and operations. Originally from New York, Stacey received her BS at Syracuse University and her MBA from Meredith College. She moved to North Carolina in 1990 as part of the startup team to build and open Coastal Plain Hospital in Rocky Mount. In 1993, she came to Raleigh as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for a sub-acute rehab/nursing home corporation and then as the Director of the Diabetes Treatment Center at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Her experience in Raleigh has given her an excellent understanding and knowledge of the Wake County healthcare market. She joined Duke as the Practice Manager for Raleigh Pulmonary and Allergy Consultants, and became part of the team in 2007. Her recruitment experience spans both community and academic medicine, specifically in the areas of surgery, orthopedics, pathology and anesthesiology.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Trina completed her BA at Bucknell University and her MBA from Lynchburg College. She started her healthcare career at Centra in central Virginia. She spent several years focused on the patient Experience with the hospital-based and outpatient medical group teams. Her patient experience work with the providers led her to transition into the recruiting world, focusing on the medical and surgical specialists’ expansion of Centra Medical Group. Trina relocated to Raleigh/Durham and continued her recruiting career at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. She joined Duke’s recruitment team in 2016 with a focus on growth in the Medicine subspecialties. Outside of business hours, Trina can be found on the tennis court or volunteering at the local hospitals with her yellow lab, Daisy Duke, who is a certified therapy dog.

Christy has been in the physician recruitment field since the mid 1990’s and joined Duke’s recruitment team in 1998. During her tenure, Christy has focused primarily on the Medicine subspecialties with a heavy emphasis on Hematology/Oncology and Cardiology. She has been a resource in the growth and expansion of the Duke Heart Network and the Duke Cancer Network.  She also has a long-standing recruiting relationship with Duke’s Neurology Department, and more recently with Duke Cancer Institute.  Her knowledge of the health system continues to be a tremendous asset.  Christy grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and received her BS from UNC-Chapel Hill. Though obviously a strong supporter of Duke Medicine, she does admit to being an avid Tarheel sports fan.

Program Specialist

Debbie has been with the Duke Health Integrated Practice – the physician practice of Duke Health -  since 2007, and spent the last 10 years working with DHIP’s Physician Benefits team.  She joined the Medical Staff Recruitment team in January of 2019. Debbie brings the added value of  knowledge from both the recruitment and benefits processes to her new role.

Recruitment Coordinator

Mary has been with Medical Staff Recruitment since 2006. As Recruitment Coordinator, Mary manages all of the support functions to maintain an efficient and effective office operation. She helps to assure well-organized, trouble free site visits for physician candidates, tracks all finances from those visits, and assists in their relocation. Originally from New York, Mary received her Associates Degree in Secretarial Science from Suffolk Community College in New York.
