Career Development Program Supports Future Leaders in Clinical Informatics

Duke PDC

The DHIP is pleased to announce the recipients of the Master of Management in Clinical Informatics Tuition Support program.  This career development program encourages current DHIP physicians to expand their training in clinical informatics and outcome assessment, and prepare them to be strong leaders in the future.

“The MMCI Tuition Support program is in response to the increasing importance of informatics in the clinical environment and the need to deliver outstanding outcomes in an era of cost containment,” said Mark F. Newman, DHIP President.  “We’re pleased to offer this program to support the career development of our faculty and expand our informatics capabilities and leaders throughout all clinical entities within Duke.”

Funds for the program are provided by the DHIP, Clinical Departments and Duke University Health System.

The Duke Master of Management in Clinical Informatics is a one-year, multidisciplinary program that leverages Duke University’s expertise in medicine, business and health informatics.  Learn more at www.dukemmci.org
