DHIP staff and providers received honors at the Duke University Health System's annual Patient Safety & Quality Conference poster contest held yesterday. The annual contest is an opportunity to display the hard work and dedication of clinic staff, and highlight measurable commitment they have to our patients.
Three DHIP posters were selected for display, two won blue ribbons, and one received one of the highest awards.
The Ambulatory Fall Prevention Program poster, developed by Heidi Campbell, COT; Bridget Cherry, RN, BSN, CNIII; and Yeu-Li Yeung, OT/L, CPE, CSPHP, was the recipient of the Karcher Award and a blue ribbon. The Karcher Award is one of three top honors awarded.
The Effective Clinic Flow in a Multi-Specialty Clinic poster, developed by Heidi Campbell, COT; Adrienne Lloyd, MHA, FACHE; Amanda Mestler, COT; Hunter Batten, BSIE, and Tammy Berry, MSN, RN, received a blue ribbon.
The Improving Patient-Provider Communication poster developed by Sanne H. Henninger, MSW, LCSW, EdD; and Angela A. Rice-Warren, Med, was selected for display in the Walk the Wall show floor.
