DHIP leaders recognized Lorraine Grumieaux, a nurse at Duke Mohs Surgery Clinic in Durham, for going above and beyond in caring for our patients. During a recent encounter, Grumieaux helped a patient who was in distress get the care she needed after hours and comforted the patient until she could be seen by the doctor. Her quick response and action made a difficult situation for the patient more manageable, and put the patient and her family at ease.
