Simon directs and integrates the various functions of Duke Health ambulatory services into one organizational strategy and oversees the operations, finances, performance and quality outcomes of all clinical sites, and Duke Health Access Services. He also works with leaders to drive innovation throughout ambulatory operations, including increasing capacity within and accessibility to ambulatory clinics, streamlining operations, improving the patient and provider experience, developing care models, transitioning to value-based care, among other initiatives. He is very interested in finding innovative ways to support physicians in delivering care in an efficient, high quality and patient-centered manner.
Simon received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of Richmond and a Master of Healthcare Administration from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
He is also a founder and the preceptor for the Administrative Fellowship Program.
